Louise Wilkinson - Director
Louise is an experienced teacher in the areas of both dance and singing. Classically trained in Dance from the age of three, Louise has worked under choreographers in classical, modern contemporary and jazz. She has won numerous competitions and scholarships in both regional and state level in dance.
On the singing side, Louise has worked in the entertainment industry and nationally. She has trained in both classical and contemporary techniques and wrote the Fusion vocal syllabus incorporating the best techniques from both disciplines.
She founded Fusion with the belief that the Hunter needed a school with commitment to quality contemporary tuition for its students, to equip them for a career in the entertainment industry.

Rebecca Pollard - Dance Dirctor/Hip-Hop
Rebecca has been dancing since the age of 5 training in Ballet, Jazz & Ballroom. Bec has danced with Atalie at Pivot Studio for 4 years, she has worked extensively during that time on shows in Sydney and Newcastle.
Bec's care and compassion make her a very special teacher. She has performed in shows for Coca Cola, Gener 8 Hair Expo, Dance Central, many corporate productions and is now choreographing for the Jets Dance squad Newcastle. Bec is an explosive dancer full of energy, and her fitness instructor training assists her to focus on giving you a great workout!
Studing towards councelling for mind, body and emotion Rebecca's aim in to bring councelling of inner soul work, combine with dancing ability to create individual styles which can both conform and develop new generation styling.

Rita Azzopardi - Vocal Director
From Jazz, Rock, Funk, Contemporary or Blues, Rita is regarded as a sleek sophisticated and gutsy singer, one of Australia’s finest.
International credits include special invitation to perform as supporting artist for legendary jazz great Chick Corea and Australian Rock Giants INXS as well as Shirley Bassie. National credits include live and session work with platinum record sales group The Rockmelons, Jacki Love and Ricki May to name just a few.
Rita is in constant demand for session work in radio, film and television. An established saxophonist and percussionist as well, Rita is currently performing with Vincenzo Martinelli in a uniquely dynamic and versatile duo call OLE.

Ishtar Morosi - Funk/Modern Contemporary
Inspired by movies such as ‘Fame’ and ‘Flash dance’, Ishtar started dancing at the tender age of 4 years in her hometown, Canberra.
Training in many different styles such as ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap and funk/hip hop, as well as traditional Filipino dance, led Ishtar being involved in numerous productions and performances in local and national dance festivals and eisteddfods.
Ishtar furthered her dance training by studying at the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), where she was accepted into the Bachelor of Arts (Dance) program in 2001. Majoring in contemporary dance, Ishtar has always been a versatile dancer and has performed in many different styles from Musical Theatre in the ‘Act One, Scene One’ production of Bob Fosses’ ‘Chicago’ in 2004, to Scottish dancing in the ‘Fall Down’ film clip for Perth band ;Jebediah. Ishtar has also been in numerous performances with top Australian Contemporary choreographers, Justin Rutzou, Olivia Millard and Becky Hilton, as well as various corporate events through Dance Central Sydney and has choreographed routines for competitors on the ABC TV’s “Strictly Dancing”.
Ishtar’s most recent addition to her repertoire of dance styles is Jamaican Dancehall, which she learned from Sydney’s top Afro-Contemporary/ Dancehall choreographer and performer, Maya Martinez. Ishtar looks forward to bringing this exhilarating style to Newcastle dancers.

Lauren Hall - Junior Foundation/Vocals
Lauren is and accomplished singer, dancer and performer and has grown up in the around the entertainment industry. Trained at the prestigious Mc Donald College for Performing Arts in Sydney, Lauren has sung in numerous outfits including backing Vocals for Jon English.
Lauren now divides her time between communications degreee at Newcastle University, her dance outfit Hot Gossip and teaching here at Fusion.

Paul (PorlyBe) Bergamo - Breaking
Starting ballroom dancing in school, Paul competed in many local and state wide Dancesport competitions bringing home numerous trophies. After six years and wanting something a little more physically demanding, he left ballroom and started break dancing.
Paul has been Break dancing for more than eight years and has performed at many shows and events including - Afro Moses, Hilltop Hoods, Bliss n' Esso, 1200 Techniques, Hunter Pirates, Auto Salon Newcastle, and Newcastle Jets Bombers (choreographing the break dancers). He has also performed at many charity events.

Jyle Fram - Vocals
Jyle is the first friendly face you will see here at Fusion, as our front office assistant. Jyle is responsible for the smooth running of classes, payments, enrolments and organising music and costumes for our students. Please feel free to ask him anything, anytime- It’s what he’s here for.
On the vocal side of things, Jyle commenced training with Fusion under Louise at just 14 years of age and has since gone on to a career as a successful vocalist. Jyle was a well known face in Starstruck where he was a featured vocalist for 4 consecutive years, as well as numerous performances at HSPA. He has performed in the well-known 3 piece outfit Gen-r-8, as well as a soloist at many high profile events around the Hunter. He was chosen for the top 100 for Australian idol as well!
Jyle is a fantastic choice as a vocal teacher, as he relates so well to his charges, and has a deep understanding of audition processes, performances, and HSC examination procedure, having gone through the paces himself.

Carissa O'Neill - Junior Foundation/Dance
Carissa’s smile says it all. Carissa is responsible for our Junior Foundation Dance students. Carissa has been dancing since the age of four and relishes the opportunity to mould our youngest Fusion kids! She always ensures a fun class with her bright nature, all the while developing those all-important techniques every new dancer has to learn in a safe environment.
